Nag Notifier
Nag Notifier is a faceless background application. Although it goes into the Extensions folder, it is not an extension. It doesn't patch traps or cause extension conflicts. It is a normal application except it doesn't have an interface and doesn't show up in the application menu (the menu listing all running applications). The purpose of the Nag Notifier is to allow you to be reminded even when Nag is not running. Since the Nag Notifier is installed in the Extensions folder inside the System Folder, it is always running and can launch Nag to remind you when necessary. The Nag Notifier uses the absolute minimum processor time necessary so you don't have to worry that it will degrade the performance of other applications.

Natural Order
Natural Order is a System Extension that improves the sorting order that your Macintosh uses when it displays lists of items that have numbers in the name. This has been a problem in instances where files are numbered 1, 2, 3,...12, 13. Without Natural Order, they would appear in this order: 1, 10, 11, 12, 13, 2, 3.... Natural order fixes this problem. Network Assistant Startup
Part of Apple's Network Administrators Toolkit. This extension controls access to workstations and to Network Assistant, and lets administrators and workstation users interact. The extension must be installed on all workstations you want to manage and on all administrator workstations. If a workstation doesn窶冲 have a name, the Network Assistant Startup extension creates one. This name has this form: 窶廴ac窶 followed by the processor type and the amount of RAM on the workstation. If another workstation on the network has the same name, the extension adds a sequence number to the name.
Network Extension is a tool for selecting the type of network to which your Mac is connected, such as LocalTalk or EtherTalk. Don't discard this extension if your Mac is part of a network.

This extension guards against viruses as soon as your computer starts up. It works like a sentry in the background, alerting you when it detects an infected file or suspects a virus. It either eliminates the virus automatically or gives you the option to repair the file on the spot. When you install Norton AntiVirus, Auto-Protect is already running.
